Millions of people registered their name thinking that they were actually going to get a chance to storm area 51. But just to clarify, the authorities haven’t exactly given permission to Roberts to invade the military base that would be absurd. But what they have got permission for is a full blown event that is being promoted as a festival to honor the Facebook page.
To be held in Rachel Nevada

The festival is being organized in Rachel Nevada which is the closest you can get to Area 51. The event will be held from 19-22 which is the same weekend that was supposed to be the dates of the storming event. The three day festival has been given the name ALIENSTOCK and is more a alien happy festival that will include live music, camping and some great food.

The approval came from the County Commission office earlier in August and the organizers have received the first written permit. Matty Roberts the man behind the event and the Storm Area 51 incident said “We had to jump through some hoops to make this legitimate. Alienstock is happening- just got this bad boy approved!”

Matty is 20 years old and has stated that the event will be free entry although there will be charges for camping and parking. He also said that they have organized really big and small performers who will perform live at the event. Matty says I’m so excited for this thing man, it’s the biggest thing I’ve ever done and it’s so cool.”
One big fun festival instead with an alien theme

It does sound as if the weekend is going to be one big alien spotting event but that may not exactly happen as the USAF has issued a warning to people against approaching the base. To this Matty ahs remarked “the only word from the base so far is the Air Force spokeswoman basically saying it’s a live training ground for the US Air Force and trespassing is strongly discouraged.”
Really though it amazes me how smoothly this has gone, I think the majority of Lincoln County is just very excited to be part of something global like this, and pieces just keep falling into place.”
Emergency planning and preparations in place

The Authorities have also organized emergency planning for the event and Lincoln County Commission Chairman said that Area 51 and surrounding areas will be blocked off as per a report in the Las Vegas Review Journal.
As of now, it is unclear how many will attend the event although more than 3 million have registered interest and desire to attend on Facebook

Matty Roberts started the “Storm area 51 They Can’t Stop All Of Us” as an American Facebook event scheduled for September 20 2019. The aim was to raid the area of the USAF that lies within the Nevada Test and Training Facility and look for alien life. Matty confirmed that the event was only planned as a comedic and stated that he was not responsible for any causalities in case people actually try to storm the base.

While the authorities have warmed against any endeavor, the event has had a big impact on local businesses in Nevada who are preparing for several thousand visitors on the fateful day. Well, even if there is no storming of the base, businesses aren’t complaining because the festival too might bring a lot of businesses.
